More info
We'll be kicking off the event at 5:00 PM, this Friday, January 25th, in the Robert Zemeckis Center (3131 S. Figueroa St., Los Angeles), Lab 119. While the space won't be open for the entirety of the 48 hours of the jam, it will be open through Friday night, most of Saturday, and most of Sunday, until the GGJ comes to a close at 5:00 PM on Sunday the 27th.
If you're going to participate, your game should be uploaded to GGJ's site by 3:00 PM on Sunday; judging (including Richard Lemarchand, lead designer of the Uncharted series of games, as well as other industry professionals) will begin at 3:30 PM.
Thanks to our sponsor, Mozilla and their Game On game jams (gameon.mozilla.org), we will have hundreds of dollars of prizes to distribute! In addition, we will also be providing FREE food (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks) on the three days of the Jam.
For anyone coming from off-campus, there is free parking in the lot next to the Zemeckis Center, as well as metered street parking, and a few other paid lots.
